Okay, so a few days ago, I got super curious about where this country singer, Riley Green, went to college. You know, sometimes you just get these random thoughts, right?
I started by hitting up Google, just like any normal person would do. I typed in “Riley Green college” and scrolled through the first few results. Most of them were just his Wikipedia page or some interviews where he mentioned his college in passing. Nothing too detailed. I needed to dig deeper.
So, I thought, “Why not check out the college’s website?” I figured they might have a section on famous alumni or something. I found Jacksonville State University’s website pretty easily.
- First, I looked for an “Alumni” section, but it wasn’t super obvious.
- Then, I tried their search bar, typing in “Riley Green.” Bingo! A few articles popped up about him visiting the campus or doing a concert there.
From these articles, I learned a couple of cool things:
- He was a quarterback for the Jacksonville State Gamecocks. That’s pretty neat, I guess.
- He apparently played there from 2007 to 2009.
It wasn’t easy, that’s for sure. It is not convenient for people to find the information they want. There is too much useless information!
I guess that’s it, nothing too crazy. But hey, at least I satisfied my curiosity, and now we all know a little bit more about Riley Green. He’s not just a singer, he was a college football player, too. This kind of makes me like him even more. I should follow him on social media.
