Alright, so I figured it was time to share how I went about getting tickets for the WWE event happening over in Rochester. It wasn’t super complicated, but you know how these things can be sometimes, gotta pay attention.
My Hunt for the Tickets
First off, I heard the buzz, WWE was coming to town. The initial step for me was just confirming the date and the venue. Popped open my computer, did a quick search just to get the basic details sorted. You see a lot of different sites right away, gotta be careful there.
I specifically looked for the official venue’s information and also checked what the main WWE page said about events. My goal was to find the primary seller, you know, the place that actually sells the tickets directly, not some reseller marking things up like crazy right off the bat. Took a little clicking around, comparing what different places were saying, until I felt confident I was in the right spot.
Finding the Right Seats
Okay, so I got to the part where you actually pick your seats. They show you that map of the arena. I spent a good few minutes looking this over. You’ve got your ringside seats, which cost an arm and a leg, usually. Then you got the lower levels, and the upper levels.
My thinking was: I want a decent view, don’t want to be staring at a pole or something, but I also didn’t want to refinance my house for it. I looked at the different sections, checked the prices for each. Some sections looked okay price-wise, but seemed kinda far back or off to the side. It’s always a trade-off, isn’t it?

- Briefly considered the floor seats near the back – decided against it, figured heads would be in the way.
I finally landed on a section in the lower bowl, kind of angled towards the ring. Seemed like a good compromise between view and cost for me personally.
Making the Purchase
Selected the seats I wanted. Then came the checkout part. This is where you gotta watch out. Added the tickets to my cart. Then you get hit with the fees – service fees, facility fees, sometimes taxes depending on where you are. Always check that final price before you hit the button. It can jump up quite a bit from the listed seat price.
Entered my payment details, double-checked everything. Hit submit. Waited for that confirmation screen… success! Got an email almost immediately confirming the purchase.
The tickets themselves are digital this time. They sent instructions on how to access them through my phone. Seems pretty standard these days. Just gotta make sure my phone is charged on the day of the show!
So yeah, that was basically it. Just took a bit of searching to find the official seller and some time comparing seats and prices. Now, just gotta wait for the event itself. Should be a good time.
