Then I switched things up. I saw that talent, the one that lets her possess an enemy after it dies near her – Black Arrow, I think they call it? Sounded super interesting. I thought, ‘Hey, free unit, swing the tide!’ So I spent some resources, grabbed that talent, and went back in.

Finding What Works (For Me)

But I decided to give it a proper go. Played quite a few matches focusing on using her against clumps of enemies or to support a push. And man, that’s when it clicked for me.
This talent just works consistently.
Here’s what I found:
- She drops in, does her scream thing, and suddenly those annoying little swarm units just melt.
- It gives her breathing room immediately.
- Helps clear the path for your other units pushing forward.
- Even against tougher single units, softening them up with that initial burst felt more valuable overall than the slightly higher single-target DPS or the chance of a possession.
It just fits better into how I tend to play, using leaders for specific impact moments rather than just raw stats. That area burst helps control the lane right when she lands, which felt way more useful game after game compared to the others.
So yeah, after trying them all out, playing a bunch, and seeing what actually helped me win more consistently, I landed on the Banshee’s Wail talent. It might not be the absolute best in every single niche situation, but for general play and reliability, that’s the one I stick with now. It just feels right in practice.
