- The Kirk Command: Trying to sound a bit more commanding, leader-like.
Beyond the Star Trek stuff, I thought about his actual career or personality. That famous clip came to mind…
- You Like That?!: This one felt pretty strong. Uses his own memorable moment. Probably my favorite so far.
- Kirko Chainz: He got that nickname, right? With the chains after wins. Seemed timely and kinda cool.
- Checkdown Kirk: Okay, maybe this is for the haters or if you’re feeling self-deprecating about drafting him. A bit risky depending on your league’s vibe.
- The Kirkstomer: Just mashing words together here, like “customer”. Didn’t really land for me, but I wrote it down anyway. Sometimes the bad ideas help you get to the good ones.
Putting It All Together
So after scribbling these down, I had a decent little list. Some were okay, some were kinda lame, a couple felt pretty good. I usually lean towards something referencing an inside joke or a player moment, so You Like That?! and Kirko Chainz stood out to me.
Captain Kirk Cousins is always a safe bet if you can’t decide. Simple, everyone gets it. Ultimately, I just picked the one that made me chuckle the most when I said it out loud. That’s usually my final test. No point having a fantasy team if the name doesn’t bring you a little bit of joy, right?
