Okay, so I’ve been seeing Billy Horschel’s golf bag pop up a lot lately, and I got curious. What’s this guy rocking? I decided to do a little digging and see if I could figure out exactly what he’s got in there. It was a bit of a treasure hunt, but I think I’ve got a pretty good handle on it now.
The Deep Dive
First, I scoured the internet. I mean, I went deep. I checked out golf forums, equipment reviews, and even watched some slow-motion videos of his swing to try and get a glimpse of his clubs.
Then I hit up all the usual suspect * manufactures’ official sites, those big online golf stores, you name it. I was looking for any clues, any specs, anything that could confirm what I was seeing.
It was a bit like putting together a puzzle. One site would mention one club, another would have a picture of something different. I had to piece it all together.
The (Probable) Goods
So, after all that work, here’s what I think Billy’s got in his bag. Keep in mind, this stuff can change, but this is my best guess based on my detective work:
- Driver: Seems like he’s been using something pretty new.
- Fairway Woods: He probably goes with at least one, for those longer shots.
- Irons: Okay. It’s probably some forged.
- Wedges:He needs. Pitching wedge, gap wedge, sand wedge, lob wedge.
- Putter:This is the money maker!
- Ball:The ball, he is gaming.
It was a fun little project, trying to figure out the exact setup of a pro golfer. Makes you realize how much thought and customization goes into their equipment!
