Alright, so today I spent some time trying to find that flautist character in Wuthering Waves. Heard people talking about them, figured I’d go check it out myself.
My first thought was, maybe they’re somewhere obvious? Like, in Jinzhou city? Seemed logical, big place, maybe near the synthesizer or something cultural. I ran around the main hub for a while, looked near the performance areas, but didn’t see anyone fitting the description. Wasted a bit of time there, honestly.
The Actual Hunt
Okay, so Jinzhou was a bust. I pulled up the map then, trying to think where else a musician might hang out. I remembered some talk about the Port City of Guixu. Seemed like a decent bet, so I decided to head over that way. Fast traveled to the nearest point I had unlocked there.
Once I got to the Port City of Guixu, it still wasn’t immediately clear where to look. It’s a pretty vertical place, lots of levels.
- I started near the main Resonance Beacon in that area.
- Did some climbing, checked a few rooftops.
- Looked around the lower dock areas too.
Finally, I spotted them. They weren’t super hidden, but not out in the main path either. I found the flautist standing on a sort of upper platform or balcony area within the port city structure itself. It’s kinda overlooking some of the lower parts of the port. You gotta climb up a bit to get there, near some buildings.
There they were, just playing their instrument. Didn’t miss them once I was in the right general vicinity. Just standing there, pretty distinct once you get close enough to hear the music.
So yeah, that’s where I found the flautist. Took a bit of searching around the Port City of Guixu, but got there in the end. Just needed to explore the different levels of the port structure a bit. Task done.
