- Hitting/Pitching Icons: Things like the ‘Clutch’ rating icon become super important. And understanding the pitcher confidence and energy displays. There are also icons for active quirks that pop up during gameplay.
- Diamond Dynasty Specifics: This mode has its own layer, like the Parallel levels (P1, P2, etc.) showing up on cards, or icons for specific card series.
It wasn’t like I found a magic decoder ring. It was more like slowly learning the vocabulary by seeing it used and finding explanations here and there. I didn’t even write most of it down, just started recognizing them after a while.
Finally Making Sense
After actively looking and piecing together info from the game and other players, things finally started to click. It took a bit, maybe a few days of playing and reading discussions on the side. Now when I look at a player card, I actually understand what those little symbols are telling me about the player’s strengths and weaknesses in certain situations. It makes building a Diamond Dynasty team or making substitutions in Franchise mode way easier, because you actually know what you’re looking at.
