Oh boy, you talking about that NXT call-ups 2024, huh? It’s like watching them young chickens finally get to leave the coop. Gotta say, it’s something to see them go big time.
That NXT, it’s where they make them young folks into big stars. I seen a lot of them young fellas and gals come through there. They work real hard, get all beat up, and some make it, some don’t. But that’s just how it is, ain’t it? This year, 2024, there’s gonna be some new faces showin’ up.
Who’s Comin’ Up in 2024?
Well, you never truly know for sure, but folks are talkin’. They sayin’ some of them who been there a while are gonna get their shot.
- Ilja Dragunov – That boy, he’s tough as nails. Seen him get beat up real good, but he just keeps comin’. He’s got that fire, you know? Reminds me of my old rooster, never backed down from a fight.
- Then there’s that Roxanne Perez. She’s a little firecracker, that one. Won that big belt twice, they say. Tough little thing. She beat that Lyra Valkyria, whoever she is. That was in April, I heard, some big shindig in Philadelphia.
They say Grayson Waller, he was one last year. I don’t know much about him, but if he moved up, good for him. It’s a tough business, that wrestlin’.
What’s NXT Anyway?
Well, from what I gather, it’s like a school for them wrestlers. They learn the ropes, get all trained up. It’s like when we used to send the hogs to market. You gotta fatten ’em up and get ’em ready for the big time. It was started way back, in February sometime, I don’t remember the exact day.
They got all sorts of matches, and these young folks, they really go at it. They even got a lady, Paige, who was the first big winner. I think that was back in 2013, but my memory ain’t what it used to be.
Making it Big in 2024
This whole NXT thing, it’s about getting them ready for the big shows. And this year, 2024, is no different. Some of these folks, they gonna get their chance to shine. They say there’s a big event comin’ up, called NXT No Mercy. Sounds rough, don’t it? It’s gonna be in September, in some place called Denver. That’s in Colorado, I reckon. September 1st, mark your calendars.
It’s a long road, gettin’ to the top. Lots of bumps and bruises along the way. But these young folks, they got the dream. And that’s somethin’, ain’t it? To have a dream and chase it.
The Money in NXT
Now, I don’t know all the details, but I hear tell these wrestlers, they can make some good money. They say the average for one of them NXT folks is over seventy thousand dollars a year. That’s a lot of chicken feed! Why, that’s like, I don’t know, thirty-some dollars an hour! I heard that somewhere, might be wrong, but sounds about right. Back in my day, we didn’t have that kinda money.
But, you gotta remember, it ain’t easy. They earn every penny. Getting slammed around, jumpin’ off ropes, it takes a toll on ya.
Why Watch Them NXT Call-Ups?
Well, if you like that sort of thing, it’s excitin’ to see who’s gonna make it. It’s like plantin’ seeds and seein’ which ones sprout. You never know who’s gonna be the next big star. And in 2024, there’s a whole new crop comin’ up.
These NXT call ups 2024, they are the future, I guess. It’s their time to shine. And who knows, maybe one of ’em will be the biggest star of ’em all.
So, keep your eyes peeled, you never know what you gonna see. Them young folks, they got a lot of fight in ’em. And that’s somethin’ to watch, ain’t it? You just might see somethin’ special in 2024. That’s what them call-ups are all about. Getting that chance, showing what you got. And maybe, just maybe, making it all the way to the top.
That’s all I got to say about that. It’s a lot of fuss over some young folks fightin’, but hey, people like it. And that’s all that matters, I reckon. As long as they are making money, over $70,000, that is good for them.
And maybe we will see them in that No Mercy in September 1, 2024. I sure will be watching and see if those young folks make it big. Especially that Ilja, he is a tough one. Roxanne too, she can probably beat me up if she wanted to.
