So today, I saw this Snowman Contest Tournament was going on in Monopoly GO, and I thought, “Why not give it a shot?” It started at 3 PM ET on January 7th, and I had until 1 PM ET on January 8th to get in on the action. I had heard from somewhere that there were some cool rewards, so that got me interested.
I jumped into the game and started playing. The first thing I did was to figure out what I needed to do to get these rewards. It turned out there were different milestones, and each one had a different reward. I’m not gonna lie, it took some time to get the hang of it. I played a few rounds, trying different things to see what worked.
- First off, I tried just landing on properties and buying them up like usual. That gave me some points, but it wasn’t really getting me to those milestones fast enough.
- Then, I thought, “Maybe I should focus on the Chance and Community Chest cards?” So I did that for a bit. It was a bit hit or miss, to be honest. Sometimes I’d get lucky, sometimes not so much.
- I even tried going to jail on purpose a few times, thinking maybe there was a strategy there. Spoiler: there wasn’t, at least not for me.
After a while, I started to get a feel for it. The trick seemed to be balancing between landing on properties and hitting those Chance and Community Chest spots. I also noticed that the higher the property value, the more points I got. So I started aiming for those big ones.
It was a grind, I won’t sugarcoat it. I spent a good chunk of my day playing. But you know what? I started climbing up those milestones. And let me tell you, the rewards were pretty sweet. I got some in-game cash, a bunch of dice rolls, and even some of those rare sticker packs. Totally worth it.
By the time 1 PM ET on January 8th rolled around, I had hit a bunch of milestones. I didn’t get them all, but I got a good amount. I was pretty happy with what I accomplished. It was a fun little challenge, and hey, who doesn’t like free stuff?
