Okay, so the other day I was watching “Elf” with my kids, you know, the Christmas classic with Will Ferrell. And there’s this scene where Buddy the Elf is in the mailroom, and I swear, for a split second, I thought I saw Nick Sirianni, the Eagles coach! I was like, “Wait, is that him?”

I even went back and re-watched that specific scene in “Elf” like five times, pausing and zooming in on the background actors. I was determined to prove it was him, or at least find someone who looked ridiculously like him.

The results? Total bust. There’s absolutely zero evidence that Nick Sirianni was ever in “Elf.” It seems my eyes, and maybe my wishful thinking as an Eagles fan, were playing tricks on me.
It was just some random dude. The resemblance, at least in that one brief moment, was uncanny. But hey, it gave me a good laugh and a fun little research project for the evening. It’s a fun thought, though, right? Imagining Coach Sirianni slinging mail before he was slinging play calls.
