WWE at United Center: How to Get Tickets and Plan Your Visit

So, I went to see WWE at the United Center the other day. It was a pretty big deal, as I’ve been a WWE fan for a while and never got around to seeing a live show.

WWE at United Center: How to Get Tickets and Plan Your Visit

First things first, I had to get the tickets. I went online to the place where they sell tickets and bought them there. It was a bit of a hassle because you need to figure out which seats are good and all that, but I got them eventually. It’s important to note that the tickets are all digital now, which they call mobile tickets. No more printing tickets at home!

The day of the event, I made my way to the United Center. I took an Uber because I didn’t want to deal with parking. The drop-off point was pretty straightforward, right on Madison Street. This is also the same place you enter as a pedestrian. Getting inside the venue was smooth. They just scanned the ticket on my phone, and I was in.

I got there early, about 90 minutes before the show started. They open the gates early, so there’s time to get settled. The United Center is huge. I mean, it can hold nearly 21,000 people! It’s apparently the biggest arena in the NBA by capacity. Once inside, it was easy enough to find my seat. The staff there are helpful if you get lost.

The show itself was awesome. I saw Monday Night Raw, but they also host other events like Friday Night Smackdown and even big ones like WrestleMania. The energy in the crowd was insane. Everyone was super into it, cheering and booing and all that. It was way more intense than watching it on TV.

After the show ended, leaving the venue was also a breeze. They direct the foot traffic out the same entrance on Madison Street. For those who drove, they have a specific exit on Warren Blvd. I just called another Uber and headed home. Overall, it was a great experience.

I know some people might wonder about tours of the United Center. From what I understand, they don’t do public tours. The only way to see the inside is when there’s an event going on. But you can always go and take photos outside the building when it’s closed. They also have a shop in the Atrium that you can check out.

  • Buy tickets online.
  • Arrive early, about 90 minutes before the event.
  • Use the Madison Street entrance.
  • Enjoy the show!
  • Exit through Madison Street on foot or Warren Blvd by car.

A Few Tips:

If you’re thinking about going to a WWE event at the United Center or any event there, really, I’d say go for it. Just remember to get your tickets online, show up a bit early to avoid the rush, and be prepared for a huge crowd. It’s a pretty cool place to see a live event.
